Aah, but you have that wonderful ocean of red rock! The ocean here has been wonderful this last week, warm and gentle. I understand from Bearcloud that you had some flooding in Sedona! Hope you stayed dry...

Thanks Cathryn!
Looking forward to connecting, learning, and sharing.
How do I use the chat room? Are there instructions? My friend told me it's a Yahoo group.

Hi Cathryn - great to hear from you. I am in Albuquerque NM - moved to NM last June. So I am attending DUP in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque. We are doing some recording video and audio this coming saturday. So I am still loving DUP. I have also linked up with the Seike (sp?) community in this area and practice mantras and singing along with Kundalini Yoga.

I met Eliahu in Jersulem in 2005 - a group of Peace Ministers were visiting for 10 days - and I was ordained at the Sea of Galilee. I stay connected with the folks I met in Jeruselm via the internet. Last year I was attending the Summer of Light Conference in Sedona and speaking with a woman in the lunch line who knew the same Jeruslem Hug folks. It truly is a small planet when we see how we are connected at the heart. I miss dancing with you and the prescott/sedona group, and think of you fondly . I saw a great video of DUP and your were in it - and then I got a picture of you from my friend Shems from Silver City NM. Amazing. Blessings - and hope to dance with you soon - valerie

Hi - thanks for this wonderful community...I just posted a song (Love Starved), as you requested over a year ago - some things take time! Anyway, I hope this song, and it's mission, are a good addition to the healing here!

I've been here in AZ since Jan. 2004 - in the Verde Valley since September of 04. I love it here. I'm from Southwestern lower MI originally - right on the shores of Lake Michigan. Beautiful lake - - but gets extremely COLD and snowy during the winter. Plus MI doesn't have enough sunshine for me!!
Blessing to you for a wonderful 2009!!

Cathryn,
Yes, Harvey and Julie are the ones who started the CDC. Lovely people and great role models! Wish I could can their energy; they never seem to stop!

Gotta run, am still preparing a 10-min. talk in Spanish for 5:30 at the library!

Here is one of my favorites by Jane Hirshfield
Take the used-up heart like a pebble
and throw it far out.
Soon there is nothing left.
Soon the last ripple exhausts itself
in the weeds.
Returning home, slice carrots, onions, celery.
Glaze them in oil before adding
the lentils, water, and herbs.
Then the roasted chestnuts, a little pepper, the salt.
Finish with goat cheese and parsley. Eat.
You may do this, I tell you, it is permitted.
Begin again the story of your life

You are right - Peachland is a long way from Sedona! - but I understand it has for Canada, the same interesting "magnetic" attraction that Sedona has in the US for people seeking enlightenment. I thank my friend, Sunshower from Sedona, for inviting me to join and I look forward to meeting fascinating new friends!

Thanks for your comment, Cathryn. Very specific . . . I like that! Neat that your power animal is the cougar. What if I could get you a print of that piece, as a gift. Would you like that?

I love your photos, Cathryn! I really like Fractals, too.
Perhaps I'll post my personal mandala, accomplished through fractals, based on my numerology!

As-Salāmu `Alaykum wa Raħmatullāh
Thank you for the kind welcome. I have attended two Sufi presentations in the last few weeks. The first one was a celebration of Muhammad's birth given in Chandler by a Naqshabandi Order. This heightened by interest in Sufism and I attended a Turn workshop given by Hafizullah in Tuscon. This was an all-day workship and was extremely interesting and enlightening. Although I am not yet a Sufi, my interest in Sufism is definitely heightened. I especially enjoy dhikrs and recite dhikrs in praise of Allah everytime I pray and I do pray five times daily. I expect that you have read my email that i sent to the email address from your website. I have visited your website often and find a great power emanating from your site. You definitely possess a power that has had a very positive influence on me. I would like to further explore what you may have to offer me. I can see your haloed image now and a warmth has charmed my body.
Salam wa barakatallah

You are correct, the GNO part of Gnobo is Gnostic. The BO part of Gnobo is Bohemian. I was originally named after two Episcopalian ministers by my pious Irish parents. Felt awfully stigmatizied. To have Gnostic means I will go inside to discover my own truths. To have the Bohemian, well, that describes itself. The full name Gnobo Audric Calypso has an earthly identity in the first name. Audric in Celtic means "leader," so that's my masculine/right brain ya-de-da-de-da and the last name, Calypso, is my feminine side and origins in Atlantis, since it was a province there. Also it is the name of Jacque Crousteu's boat and a fabulous dance. What a wonderful site you managed to create. Your "Cornville" is right over the hill from my home at the end of Bridgeport. Lots of wildlife. Thanks again for this site. My Japanese partner will eventually join.
