Arizona Light-Workers Sharing Inspirations for Conscious Living

Over the years I have been examining an acute cause of the adrenal gland that causes the autonomous nervous system to rise into flight or fight mode. It is my belief that most people diagnosed with various disorders are actually physically or somatically suffering from high energy that affected the sympathetic nervous system. Usually some sort of shock to ideals, shock to the nerves, disillusionment, disenchantment, spiritual upheaval, death, loss or sudden drama or trauma causes the sympathetic nervous system to rise high taking body fluids and chemicals with it. The parasympathetic nervous system is supposed to cool down this process and return everything to normal, but---I have found---this is not always the case, especially if people have very high energy to begin with. OUr nervous system sometimes is just too slow to accomodate this process.

To examine this more closely I would have to consider the body is made up of 3/4 fluid and that the brain has over 119 chemicals of which are not yet discovered what they do exactly. The gases in the body are affected in this process as well. Consequently, reacting natrually, the body freezes in a position of fight or flight mode and the nerves have become too inflamed to relax. The individual remains in this state, experiencing anxiety more quickly, is depressed more often, is rather irritable most of the time, appears to be in a state of panic, but tries to consistently recompose. The individual feels a condition like a mail affect----as if his/her entire face, skull, neck, shoulders and chest area are encased in Medievel mail, like the knights once wore. The stitching of the nerves is swollen to a point where this is encased over sinews, or muscles and tendons. Instead of responding the individual is always reacting because the body's fluids, gases, chemicals and sinews are way off balance due to the swelling of the nerves risen up into the flight or fight mode; they carry them up in this process.

Anti-depressants don't work because they are designed for serotonin and for neuro-transmitters. The individual becomes labeled with odd diagnosis and finds that the reaction from various anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications only worsen this condition since the alien substance is not balancing with organic chemicals in the first place. A hopelessness prevails. Relief to the face, skull, neck, upper shoulders and lower back is a constant; however, the most crippling affect is the stitching of inflamed nerves covering the face, forehead, skull and neck that gets no relief unless the individual is in a totally relaxed state of mind. However, at the slightest provocation the condition affects the body once again because the parasympathetic nervous system never cooled the sympathetic nervous system down and the nervous system cell memories are activated again and again and again.

All forms of therapy offered today are hopeless to this condition. Massage, myopratics, chiropractics, healing, healing tools, Internists, psychologists, counselors, spiritual consultants always misdiagnose this and do not want to look further into the possibilities that everything is related to the adrenal gland and the autonomous nervous system where the cells contain memory from 5 years old. Relief; therefore, I feel is to be found within this problem, for all else is just an itchy band-aid.

I have seen this over and over and over again. I am still examining this, but there are no outward symptoms; however, each person explains that there is a feeling of stretched webbing over their head, forehead---third eye area---skull, back of skull, neck, shoulders and lower back. Even skilled trigger point massuers cannot smooth out this energy since it is inflamed and needs to be taken down. Total relaxation over a long period of time gives some relief. I have found, also, that the muscles at the back of the neck are hardened and sometimes overlap the neckbone. There is usually too, a stiffening of muscles around the shoulder-blades. There is a worrying look on the person's face and the brow is usually furrowed. There is also restlessness and an inability to sit still for any length of time.

To those who read this blog, I would appreciate any comments whatsoever, for I believe the suffering is within the nervous system much more than it is within disorders that the DSM IV has so blatantly written about, yet is discovered each year that ten or more "diagnosis" are incorrect. Yet, this is the book that all physicians and clinicians use for diagnosing "ailments" in order to prescribe medication; medication that eventually does more harm than good.

To think of such a condition is to know that the person becomes blocked, not by emotions or unwillingness to allow the All in, but unknowingly and unintentionally blocked due to nerve inflamation that has sealed over and in sinews like thick vines, rising levels of gases, fluids and chemicals to a point of fight or flight mode. To think of so many people mis-diagnosed, suffering, and feeling hopelessness because the light of the All appears so "vague," is something that needs to be examined and considered.

This is my motivation for joining this group---to intelligently, and without criticism, discuss such a condition and not to be inundated with woo woo techniques, for to heal one must look at mental, physical and spiritual since we exist on the relative reality plane. I strongly see this as physical, mental and spiritual, a triad that needs to be attended to within each area of being, henceforth, healing as well.

Your theory is very interesting! I have been working in an energy healing practice since 1995 and have seen many cases of nervous system overload and the resulting "shutting down" process that happens first as the nervous system "protects" itself and then to the adrenal system as a result of broken down communication between the nervous system and the endocrine system.

I agree that this level of imbalance must be addressed on all levels and I think that a mental or intellectual understanding of the initial trigger for this imbalance ("some sort of shock to ideals, shock to the nerves, disillusionment, disenchantment, spiritual upheaval, death, loss or sudden drama or trauma") is the best beginning step so that the person may then begin to make conscious choices as to changing the unconscious decision that was made at the time of the initial trauma. Emotional and spiritual work then has a framework and targeted purpose and the physical healing process can be lasting and more complete.

Hi Gnobo,
After 30 years as a chiropractor and acupuncturist I am quite familiar with the syndrome you are referring to, and agree that it involves both the
autonomic nervous system imbalance and the adrenals. I have found lasting
results from using Neuro-Emotional Technique(NET) to discover and clear from the body the "shocks" of the past. These shocks have also been incriminated as a precursor to cancer. Your description of the Medieval mail
may best be explained by the clairvoyant, Barbara Brennan. In Chapter 12 of her classic, "Hands of Light", she describes types of energy blocks. Two of the six types are called mesh armor and plate armor. Armoring is a way
to avoid feeling our emotions, particularly fear. It is useful to remember that the mind and the body are one, we just give them separate names so we can talk about them.
